BEGINNINGS...

Shop 5, 405 HIGH ST NORTHCOTE, MELBOURNE
My original shop was established as a CD, Record and Book Shop in 1996. It was in a tiny "shoe-box" of a shop at 405 High St in Northcote. Not very originally, I called it Rhythm & Views... "Rhythm" for music; and "Views" for opinions (books) & images (photography & art).

A keen young musician, called Hugh McGinlay discovered the new music shop and helped me make it look good, but it was too small and at the wrong end of town (no passing trade). We didn't prosper, so I looked around and finally found another shop, this time it felt just right! We moved...
